Our client is a respected plaintiff personal injury law firm. They are seeking a full-time Bilingual (Spanish) Paralegal to join their office in North Bergen, NJ. Job Function
- Draft tort claim notices, PIP applications, NJPLIGA forms, and initial letters of representation.
- Communicate with insurance companies and adjusters to open and manage PIP/BI claims.
- Request, track, and review medical records; prepare HIPAA authorizations and follow up with providers as needed.
- Prepare medical specials, narrative reports, and itemized bills; manage Medicare/Medicaid/ERISA liens.
- Coordinate with experts, schedule IMEs, and ensure timely delivery of expert reports.
- Facilitate settlements, including drafting releases and securing closing documents.
- Maintain case files, scan/mail documents, manage deadlines, and assist with general office duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of experience in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Solid computer skills, especially in MS Word and Outlook; experience with document management systems required; familiarity with Smart Advocate is a plus.
- Experience with online court systems is required.
