Description

We’re looking for a Category Manager to lead strategic category, brand, and channel analysis, translating complex data into clear, compelling stories that drive growth across our portfolio. You’ll be the go-to expert on syndicated data and PowerBI reporting, supporting cross-functional teams—from sales to innovation—with insights that guide pricing, promotional strategy, product development, and more.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and knows how to turn numbers into narratives. You won’t be managing people—you’ll be managing impact.

WHAT YOU'll DO

  • Build, maintain, and evolve best-in-class PowerBI dashboards that deliver real-time insights into syndicated sales, forecasts, and KPIs.
  • Lead the creation of business reviews and present category insights with strategic action plans to executives and customer teams.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Innovation to identify growth opportunities, develop pricing strategies, and optimize product mix.
  • Mine syndicated datasets (SPINS, Nielsen, Satori) to uncover white space opportunities and fuel compelling, fact-based selling stories.
  • Create and own reporting tools that drive shelf execution—including assortment recommendations, set guidelines, and void gap analysis.
  • Reinstate and own monthly retailer review reporting to key accounts across all 3 brands.
  • Support cross-functional alignment on sales goals by maintaining a single source of truth across syndicated and internal data sources.
  • Redesign and launch a Sales Dashboard to track daily revenue performance for all brands.
  • Identify and communicate category growth opportunities and deliver strategic presentations.
  • Build out a company-wide KPI dashboard that supports data visibility and performance tracking across departments.

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 4+ years in category management, business intelligence, or CPG strategy.
  • Proven track record with syndicated data (SPINS, Nielsen) and tools like Satori.
  • Deep experience with PowerBI (not just Excel-based dashboards)—you know how to build, publish, and manage data tools that drive decisions.
  • Expert storytelling and presentation skills—your slides speak louder than words.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs.
  • Driven, self-directed, and organized—you hear a need and you act.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable owning cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
