The District Team Training Coordinator is responsible for driving the success of team training programs across multiple locations within a defined district. This role ensures consistency, quality, and effectiveness of team training offerings, with a strong focus on member engagement, coach development, and business performance. The ideal candidate is a passionate fitness leader with experience leading group training, coaching teams, and delivering exceptional experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Execution
- Lead, schedule, and support all team training programs across assigned locations. Weekly and quarterly cadence to support their district.
- Ensure consistency in programming, coaching standards, and member experience to improve member retention. In accordance with the TruFit provided programs.
- Serves as the subject matter expert and mentor for all team training coaches and trainers within the district.
- Deliver high-energy, safe, and effective workouts as needed in the club.
- When needed, Team Training responsibilities may require teaching Combo6 and TruPower sessions.
- Onboards, trains, and certifies new team training coaches to meet Trufit requirements and safety standards.
- Provide ongoing education, performance feedback, and mentorship to enhance coaching quality, offering a minimum of quarterly training for each club within their district.
- Minimum one club visit per month for audits, training, and partners with the Regional Director of Fitness to validate essential initiatives.
- Promote team training through in-club events, marketing initiatives, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with General Managers and Fitness Managers to align team training with club goals.
- Monitor key performance metrics, including session utilization, revenue, and customer retention.

- Supplement Revenue
- Small Group Sessions Execution
- Coach trainers to ensure they are maximizing their compensation plans to move to the next tier.
- Combo6, TruPower, and Personal Training sessions audits for the execution of quality control and consistency.
- Identify and execute strategies to increase participation and enhance member satisfaction.
- Validates Combo6 and TruPower attendance, then sends out ranker for execution to improve.
- Proactive with business trends: Master Client list and Auditing Calendars.
- Two weeks out for calendars
- Partner with FM to ensure that calendars are updated
- 2+ years of experience in the fitness industry, preferably in group training or coaching leadership.
- Current nationally accredited fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, etc.).
- CPR/AED certified.
- Experience leading and developing teams across multiple locations is preferred.
- Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Passion for fitness, people, and community building.
- Ability to travel regularly within the district. Minimum one club visit per month for audits and training.
