We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer for our West Jordan, Utah area!

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Audio Enhancement, you will be a key member of our Platform Engineering team, responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production systems. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will help drive innovation and automation to improve our operational excellence, minimize downtime, and create seamless customer experiences.

Duties Include

System Reliability & Uptime:

  • Architect, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and highly available systems.
  • Develop monitoring strategies, create reliable alerting mechanisms, and establish performance baselines.
  • Engage in proactive incident management, troubleshooting, and post-incident analyses to prevent recurrences.

Automation & Infrastructure

  • Design and develop automation tools to streamline deployment, scaling, and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate operational best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead initiatives around infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.

Performance & Capacity Planning

  • Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning exercises to ensure systems operate efficiently under load.
  • Analyze system metrics and logs to diagnose performance issues and recommend improvements.

Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Work closely with software engineers, product teams, and operations to design and implement best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members and drive knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response processes, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, site reliability engineering, or DevOps.
  • Strong coding/scripting skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, BASH, or Go).
  • Proven experience with Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems and incidents.
  • Proven experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Preferred

  • Experience working with large-scale, distributed systems in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Cloud Certifications (or willingness to obtain):
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
  • Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer

Salary wage is negotiable based on skill level and experience.
