We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer for our West Jordan, Utah area!
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Audio Enhancement, you will be a key member of our Platform Engineering team, responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production systems. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will help drive innovation and automation to improve our operational excellence, minimize downtime, and create seamless customer experiences.

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer for our West Jordan, Utah area!
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Audio Enhancement, you will be a key member of our Platform Engineering team, responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production systems. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will help drive innovation and automation to improve our operational excellence, minimize downtime, and create seamless customer experiences.
Duties Include
System Reliability & Uptime:
- Architect, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and highly available systems.
- Develop monitoring strategies, create reliable alerting mechanisms, and establish performance baselines.
- Engage in proactive incident management, troubleshooting, and post-incident analyses to prevent recurrences.
- Design and develop automation tools to streamline deployment, scaling, and operational tasks.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate operational best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Lead initiatives around infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning exercises to ensure systems operate efficiently under load.
- Analyze system metrics and logs to diagnose performance issues and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with software engineers, product teams, and operations to design and implement best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and drive knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response processes, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, site reliability engineering, or DevOps.
- Strong coding/scripting skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, BASH, or Go).
- Proven experience with Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems and incidents.
- Proven experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Experience working with large-scale, distributed systems in a production environment.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Cloud Certifications (or willingness to obtain):
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
