A Iocal manufacturer is looking to hire an Inventory Analyst to support inventory accuracy, track WIP, and strengthen the connection between their shop floor and financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in enabling GAAP-compliant reporting (including ASC 606) and providing insight into cost flows across our manufacturing operations.
Working closely with the Controller, operations leadership, and external consultants, the Inventory Analyst will help establish scalable processes and reporting structures to manage inventory movements, BOM activity, and cost integrity.

This role plays a critical part in enabling GAAP-compliant reporting (including ASC 606) and providing insight into cost flows across our manufacturing operations.
Working closely with the Controller, operations leadership, and external consultants, the Inventory Analyst will help establish scalable processes and reporting structures to manage inventory movements, BOM activity, and cost integrity.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and reconcile inventory across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Analyze variances and support root cause analysis related to inventory and production activity
- Collaborate with production, supply chain, and finance to ensure accurate BOM, PO, and work order data
- Leverage Visual, Synaptex, and Excel to extract and analyze inventory and cost-related data
- Support month-end close, journal entries, and audit preparation related to inventory
- Help implement standardized inventory practices and internal controls
- Contribute to the company’s compliance with ASC 606 by supporting the transition from legacy recognition practices
- Assist with designing inventory systems and procedures that can scale with company growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field and/or relevant work experience will also be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory, cost analysis, or manufacturing finance
- Familiarity with Visual, Synaptex, or similar ERP systems
- Strong understanding of job costing, BOM management, and WIP flows
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently in a lean, cross-functional environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
