Operations Supervisor

This position requires travel to both Commerce CA and Tustin CA offices weekly with mileage reimbursement for travel to any location outside of assigned home office.

PURPOSE:

The Operations Supervisor’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Supervising production employees, improving moral, increasing productivity, setting and meeting production goals,

learning software applications, scanner settings, recognized workflow issues, improves processes and quality to make continuous improvements in production, client communication, and service delivery.

Maintaining proper staffing; and reaching specific operational benchmarks in production: Prep, Scan, Data Capture, QA teams.

ESSESNTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Personnel Management – Candidate will be responsible for, staffing, training new/existing employees, maintaining/improving team productivity and morale, building teamwork and enforcing company policies.
  • Quality tracking and improvement – Candidate will work with the Operations Manager to implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure quality of work product.
  • Productivity Requirements – Responsible for productivity improvement, reporting metrics, recommending and taking corrective actions to maintain optimal outcomes.
  • Scanner Maintenance – Responsible for ensuring staff maintains clean and efficient scanners and adheres to maintenance protocols. Contacting our Help Desk to help resolve any computer or scanner related issues, learning the solution to anticipate future needs.
  • Daily Supervision– Responsible for daily operations learning our processes and answering questions as you progress. Includes the auditing of daily work product, overseeing our Document Prep, Scan, and Data Entry Teams, ensuring workflow is consistent and customer communication is handled correctly, and expeditiously.
  • Customer Service – Responsible for providing courteous and attentive treatment of all customers’ needs by presenting a professional and positive image when interacting with customers in person and over the phone.

Work environment: Primarily office environment, with accessing boxes to process from the warehouse as necessary.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to reach, handle, carry, and lift between up to 50 lbs. While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, read, and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material.

Education And Eligibility Requirements:

Supervisory experience (3-5 years preferred)

Valid driver’s license

High school diploma

Must pass drug screen and background check.

Sig Sigma experience or certification (Preferred)

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a production environment.
  • Team building and leadership skills.
  • Creating and/or interpreting production reports and metrics.
  • Microsoft Office experience, proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Some financial experience helpful.
  • Learning new technology.
  • An optimistic outlook and problem solver.
  • Experience with workflow and productivity in an office setting.
  • Sanner or printing machine general knowledge and experience.
