Minimum Qualifications
- Occupational Therapy Degree
- Licensed to practice occupational therapy in the State of Washington
- an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification is required for occupational therapists who wish to work in public K–12 schools. This certification, issued by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), ensures that professionals are qualified to provide specialized services within the educational system.

- Shape the lives of students through the implementation of occupational therapy services using the District's school-based practice model.
- Make a difference by maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of services provided.
- Lead and inspire as you supervise the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and other program personnel.
- Share your expertise through the development and delivery of in-service/training sessions for staff and families.
- Contribute to the growth of aspiring occupational therapy students and affiliates.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local funding requirements through meticulous documentation.
- Uphold all necessary State licenses for the seamless execution of your duties.
- Experience the joy of making a direct impact by traveling to multiple work locations, utilizing your personal vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Support and empower students with physical disabilities through lifting, transferring, and positioning.
