Manager of Philanthropy Services

This position reports directly to the Foundation President and plays a key leadership role in advancing the hospital’s philanthropic goals through strategic fundraising initiatives. Responsibilities include developing and executing multi-year development plans focused on major gifts, planned giving, and community partnerships; overseeing donor engagement and stewardship strategies; and managing data-driven prospect development. The role also collaborates closely with executive leadership, board members, and community partners to support signature campaigns, special events, and institutional fundraising priorities

Education/Training/ Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; Master’s degree desirable.
• Minimum of five years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field required.
• Proactive self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills.
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar donor management software preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement individualized donor engagement plans that align with donor interests, giving patterns, and solicitation preferences, resulting in donor retention and growth.
• Skilled in gathering project and organizational information to develop compelling proposals, donor offers, and tailored solicitation materials.
• Experience in healthcare fundraising preferred; capital campaign experience is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with Marketing and other internal departments to align fundraising efforts with the hospital’s mission and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external partners to advance the philanthropic goals of the Foundation.
