About The Role

We’re looking for a bold, strategic thinker to join our global marketing team as Lead Advertising Strategist. In this role, you’ll help shape and amplify UKG’s brand presence across markets by combining creative vision with audience and media insights to build campaigns that resonate and drive growth.

This role will center on unifying critical components of our brand awareness efforts. You’ll identify target audience segments, analyze media consumption trends, and provide strategic recommendations on awareness investments. Collaborating with regional teams and agency partners, you’ll help foster a cohesive, global brand strategy that connects with our audiences and elevates our presence worldwide.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement brand awareness strategies aligned with business goals, marketing objectives, and global expansion plans.
  • Lead campaign strategy—shaping creative direction, messaging, and narrative for multi-channel brand campaigns, including commercial development.
  • Drive media and channel strategy by identifying where and how to bring our message to market across platforms, regions, and audiences.
  • Contribute to the optimization of key marketing partnerships & sponsorships through data-driven recommendations and strategic input.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to create compelling advertising content that reflects our brand voice.
  • Conduct audience and media research to uncover insights, guide investment decisions, and inform campaign development.
  • Monitor and analyze performance of awareness initiatives, using data to optimize strategies and improve impact.
  • Partner cross-functionally with brand, creative, digital, social, and communications teams to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated execution.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in brand strategy, advertising, or related roles.
  • Proven experience working at or with brand agencies and partners.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.
  • In-depth knowledge of advertising trends and channel strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Experience working closely with executive-level leaders and teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and translating metrics into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Familiarity with sports sponsorships or brand partnerships globally.
  • Experience in global marketing environments or with international campaign rollouts.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment across regions and functions.

The pay range for this position is $99,800 to $143,450, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
