We’re looking for a dynamic, people-focused, and results-driven Assistant General Manager to support the day-to-day leadership and operations of our Oak Park office. Working alongside the General Manager and VP of Operations, you'll help drive growth, lead a high-performing team, and ensure we deliver exceptional care to every client. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving organizational goals.
- Lead, coach, and motivate office staff and Care Professionals.
- Drive growth through sales initiatives, community engagement, and building referral relationships.
- Manage HR functions: recruiting, onboarding, training, and team development.
- Support financial oversight: budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and internal standards.
- Embody and promote Home Instead’s mission and values within the team and community.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in operations, team development, or staff management.
- Proven sales background and business growth mindset.
- Strong HR knowledge including recruitment and employee relations.
- Experience in home care or healthcare management strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with management software and operational systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field (preferred).
