Cabinet manufacturing company in Riverside is looking for a direct hire quality control inspector. We offer a full benefits package including Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance, 401K match, Paid Holidays, Vacation, Sick Pay, and a great work environment. The work schedule is M-F, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Candidates must be flexible with possible OT and possible Saturdays as needed.

Job Functions

  • Verify incoming material, when needed by confirming specifications, and conducting visuals and measurement checks, as required.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards based on company objectives.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
  • Perform audits, in-process production, and on finished products.
  • Look at ways to improve quality in all areas.
  • Keep measurement equipment clean, safe, and locked up.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with customers, visitors, and other employees.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, ethical standards, and code of conduct.

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

  • Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment.
  • Must possess the ability to work well with others and function independently.
  • Must be able to assess and prioritize tasks properly.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • 1-3 months of quality control experience is preferred.
  • Candidates must have the ability to use calipers and tape measurers.
  • Knowledge of blueprints (drawings) is preferred.
  • Basic computer and math skills are required.

Physical Requirements

  • Constantly lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling 75lbs + using a material handling device.
  • Frequent walking, standing, and bending (neck/waist).
  • Repetitive motions with eye/hand /foot coordination.
  • Constant upper extremity activity.
  • Frequent hearing (ordinary conversation, phone, assessment).
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
