We’re looking for Ticket Office Manager professionals to join our team in Girdwood, Alaska.
What You’ll Do
As a Ticket Office Manager, you’ll be responsible for the efficient daily operations of our hotel and Day Lodge Ticket Offices. This role involves staff management, training, and ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere. Your focus is delivering consistent, quality guest experiences.

What We Need
Be on alert & at times, on your feet for long periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work in a fast-paced, high-energy resort environment.
Adapt to seasonal changes around the resort and special events.
Physical demands: Capable of occasional lifting, up to 25 pounds, as well as tasks involving bending, stooping, walking, and standing for extended periods. While the physical demands are not strenuous, mobility and flexibility are important for the role.
Work Environment: This role occasionally involves weekends and holidays to accommodate peak business periods. Operating within a dynamic, fast-paced guest-centric setting, you will maintain a high level of interaction with staff, guests, and stakeholders.

We’re looking for Ticket Office Manager professionals to join our team in Girdwood, Alaska.
What You’ll Do
As a Ticket Office Manager, you’ll be responsible for the efficient daily operations of our hotel and Day Lodge Ticket Offices. This role involves staff management, training, and ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere. Your focus is delivering consistent, quality guest experiences.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Supervise sales staff at the Hotel and Day Lodge. Supervisory responsibilities include hiring and training staff, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining staff; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Master all product lines and fully understand sales processes and fulfillment details.
- Responsible for maintenance of RTP products
- Knowledge of all POS operations and daily close process. Responsible for cash banks and account balancing.
- Manage the UKG payroll system for Ticket Office staff.
- Staff training on all resort products, computer systems, sales processes, and fulfillment details.
- Set an example and expectations for the staff and fulfill ticket office clerk duties as necessary.
- Set the standard for Guest Service in the Ticket Office and train staff to meet that standard.
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining summer and winter stock inventories as well as overseeing the security of those inventories.
- Communicate and plan effectively with other departments within the organization and outside partners. Answer phone calls, emails, and messages. Solve problems for guests and staff.
- Retain up-to-date mountain information such as mountain conditions along with knowledge of Alyeska Resort’s products, services, promotions, etc. to provide consistent information to all guests and employees.
- Work with the Director of Mountain Experience to understand and create accurate forecasts and budgets for revenue, expenses, and labor.

What We Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous sales and supervisory experience.
- Previous experience with Aspenware, RTP and Ski Data. Preferred.
- Computer knowledge and ability to work with multiple sales platforms.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and positive attitude and demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Interact positively with other Alyeska Resort employees.
- Understand and react to the dynamic nature and needs of this business.
