Job Title: Banquet Setup

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Banquet Setup Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring that all arrangements meet the specifications and standards of our clients. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the setup and breakdown of banquet events, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
  • Ensure that all equipment and supplies are in good condition and ready for use.
  • Collaborate with event planners and catering staff to understand event requirements and layout.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
  • Assist in the training of new staff on setup procedures and safety protocols.
  • Address any issues or last-minute changes that may arise during events.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Previous experience in event setup or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy furniture and equipment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
