Precision Ag, LLC operates independently as a cooperating partner of Waypoint Analytical. The organization’s footprint stretches from the Great Plains, across the Midwest and Mid-South, to the North East. This position is strongly dependent on communication. Interaction with supervisors, customers and a drive to provide excellent customer service is an absolute priority. One’s ability to utilize smartphone, tablet, GPS equipment, email and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) are skills necessary to carry out the day-to-day operations. Time management and organization are paramount to the success of the operations manager. Interaction with potential customers, in a sales (B2B) setting, will be an additional responsibility critical to the company's success. Some local travel (20-25%) is required for meetings, distributing equipment and/or visits to customer locations.

What you will do:

  • Train and mentor field technicians in use of technology & equipment related to data collection.
  • Ensure all employees follow guidelines & policies of Precision.Ag, LLC and the customers we serve.
  • Directly oversee & dispatch work orders within assigned territory.
  • Coordinate meetings with customers, both current and potential, to nurture relationships and grow the business.
  • Generating invoices, reports & documents as needed for customers & employees/personnel.
  • Maintain, transport (when necessary) & keep record of company equipment in assigned territory.
  • Assist in hiring new field technicians.
  • Communicate with supervising manager(s), customers regarding issues, concerns & progress.
  • Offer technical/customer support when needed; software, laboratory & field processes.

  • Other duties as required.


What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree; or experience in lieu of.
  • A minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
