Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Business / Data Analyst in Long Island City, NY. The details of the opportunity are below.

Description:

  • Program Analysis & Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze program performance data (e.g., number of homes assessed, remediated, children tested).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify trends and gaps in service delivery and recommend improvements.
  • Document business processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and requirements for software tools and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze program performance data (e.g., number of homes assessed, remediated, children tested).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify trends and gaps in service delivery and recommend improvements.

Process Improvement:

  • Evaluate and refine operational workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Document business processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and requirements for software tools and reporting systems.

Stakeholder Support:

  • Collaborate with inspectors, program managers, contractors, to track project progress and resolve discrepancies.

Technology & Systems:

  • Support the development and maintenance of data management systems like Maximo and Smartsheets.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor compliance with federal lead hazard control guidelines (e.g., HUD Lead Safe Housing Rule, EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule).
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on case files and documentation.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor?s degree in public health, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a business analyst, program analyst, or similar role.
  • Proficient in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and data management systems.
  • Strong understanding of housing or environmental health programs.

Preferred:

  • Experience with HUD Lead Hazard Control Grant Programs or similar federal grant initiatives.
  • Knowledge of federal and state lead abatement regulations.
