As a Recruiter at KENTECH, your role is essential. You'll be sourcing, qualifying, and guiding high-integrity candidates through a specialized pipeline—including sworn officers, federal contractors, and civilian personnel—in partnership with agencies such as police departments and government offices. As a Recruiter at KENTECH, your role is essential. You'll be sourcing, qualifying, and guiding high-integrity candidates through a specialized pipeline—including sworn officers, federal contractors, and civilian personnel—in partnership with agencies such as police departments and government offices. You’ll help build the workforce that protects, serves, and strengthens communities across the U.S.
What You'll Do
- Source passive and active candidates for government and public safety roles using platforms such as CareerPlug, ClearanceJobs, LinkedIn Recruiter, and police academy networks
- Conduct pre-screenings and coordinate interviews for roles including sworn officers, licensed investigators, IA analysts, and civilian support
- Partner closely with HR and contract managers to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal hiring requirements (TCOLE, DOJ, etc.)
- Maintain organized candidate pipelines and submit sourcing reports
- Contribute to hiring process improvements, referral programs, and diversity outreach efforts
- You’ve recruited for government, law enforcement, or defense contracts—or you’re eager to break into this specialized space
- You’re comfortable sourcing for cleared, credentialed, or licensed professionals
- You’re proactive, organized, and know how to keep candidates warm even if the process slows
- You believe in the importance of vetting with integrity, speed, and empathy
- Bonus: You’ve used CareerPlug, SmartRecruiters, or ADP Run in the past
