Job Title: Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-of-house restaurant operations, including bar management, and will be responsible for overseeing our banquet department, two onsite restaurants, and room service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of front-of-house restaurant and bar
  • Train and supervise staff to ensure high-quality service
  • Create and manage staff schedules to optimize service efficiency
  • Prepare and analyze PMIX reporting for operational insights
  • Oversee inventory management and control
  • Assist in menu creation and development
  • Manage social media presence and marketing initiatives
  • Complete payroll for the food and beverage department
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of progressive restaurant management experience
  • Experience in upscale and casual dining environments
  • Preferred experience in banquet operations
  • Must possess a valid food handlers license and TABC certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
