Job Summary
Careington International Corporation in Frisco, TX, is looking to add an HR Assistant to our HR team. This position will be required to work in the office Monday through Friday.
The HR Assistant is responsible for supporting the HR Department across all functions, to include but not limited to: employee on and off-boarding, personnel file management, reporting and responding to employee inquiries. Additionally, this role will represent be the face of the company by providing coverage and support to corporation reception and facilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The HR Assistant is responsible for supporting the HR Department across all functions, to include but not limited to: employee on and off-boarding, personnel file management, reporting and responding to employee inquiries. Additionally, this role will represent be the face of the company by providing coverage and support to corporation reception and facilities.
EXPECTED WORK AND PERFORMANCE
- Manage personnel files and conduct routine audits to meet federal, state and local compliance requirements.
- Initiate and process employee changes in various systems
- Provides Administration support for HR Department including but not limited to:
- Onboarding Program
- Offboarding Program
- Data Management (entry; updates, etc.) in various systems
- Processing of department mail
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements, i.e., employment posters, etc.
- Updating and maintaining HR program documentation; corporate communications (postings to internal sources, flyers, etc.)
- Provide Reception desk backup coverage
- Accountable for stocking, maintenance and supply management of corporate breakrooms
- Provide Administrative support of employee engagement activities to include department meetings, rewards and recognition programs, employee luncheons, training events, corporate wide employee events etc.
- Participate on project teams as assigned.
- Responsible for providing administrative support to the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting programs and process such as new hire paperwork, scheduling interviews, etc.
- 1 year of experience in an administrative role, prior HR relevant experience is preferred.
- Highly effective verbal communication skills including courtesy, resourcefulness and efficiency in answering questions, providing internal / external direction, and explaining corporate / departmental policies and procedures are necessary
