Description
CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit agency, is looking for a Regional Coordinator in the Northern region. The Regional Coordinator will oversee the management and operations of Wellness Centers in the North. In this role the Regional Coordinator, supervises the day-to-day operations of Wellness Centers including training, fiscal management, policies, leadership training, boarding home outreach, technical assistance, community relations and other related activities. In addition, will be the liaison with the Addiction Community and will work in the development and implementation of Addictions initiative in the Wellness Center statewide. A wellness center is a place where individuals living and recovering from a mental health diagnosis go to get support, link to resources, and have opportunities to socialize and connect.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Ensure the Northern Center operations are in line with the agency’s policies and procedures.
- In collaboration with Center Managers develop, expand, and enhance Center activities, groups, and other peer recovery supports and monitor ongoing follow up of activities for ongoing implementation and outcomes.
- Oversee the submission of center budgets, data collection and reporting in PROUD, and Annex A accountability.
- Support the Center’s growth and development that is consistent with peer and recovery-oriented tools and trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a mental health related discipline.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage crises.
- Form sound conclusions and utilize excellent judgment.
- Excellent verbal communication, writing skills and assessment skills.
- Ability to analyse processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to promote teamwork.
- Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.
- Proficient in MS Office products, as well as general computer literacy.
- Bilingual skills are a plus!
- Must have a valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
- Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring people who use their own life experience dealing with mental health/substance use issues to inspire and support others.
