General Description
The Entry-Level CAD Technician will focus on creating production drawings, revising small-scale erection drawings, and coordinating projects for the fabrication and installation of precast concrete products. This role will also assist the department in managing internal schedules to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Starting wage is $22.00-$26.00 an hour based on experience.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level CAD Technician whose role it will be to ensure the successful transfer of project data from the Revit Model to Concrete Vision, it is paramount to update the erection drawings as needed to fully align with project specifications.
We are looking for employees who have a variety of essential skills, including strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting tight deadlines.

We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level CAD Technician whose role it will be to ensure the successful transfer of project data from the Revit Model to Concrete Vision, it is paramount to update the erection drawings as needed to fully align with project specifications.
- By creating or modifying individual pour sheets for Production, you will streamline the manufacturing of critical components.
- You will vigilantly monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines established by the Design & Engineering Team are met while adhering to departmental standards and protocols.
- All while proactively completing additional tasks that will contribute significantly to our overall success.
We are looking for employees who have a variety of essential skills, including strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates degree in drafting preferred
- Proficiency in both Revit and AutoCAD required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
- Fundamental understanding of construction practices and basic math skills
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for typing, filing, and using office equipment
- Visual acuity and ability to read small print
- Hearing acuity and ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to lift and move office supplies and equipment
- Mobility and ability to move around the office as needed
- Minimal risk of exposure to unusual elements
- Minimal risk of safety precautions
- General office environment
