LocumJobsOnline is assisting in recruiting a qualified Internal Medicine MD for an outpatient locum tenens role in Baton Rouge, LA, 70805.
- Pay rate: $120-$125/hour.
- Weekdays only, no call or weekends, with credentialing in 30 days.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, minimum 3-month commitment with possible extension.
- Practice setting includes an outpatient clinic serving mainly Medicare-aged patients, with a team of NPs, RNs, MAs, and scribes.
- Focus on chronic care management (diabetes, CHF, CAD, HTN), mild cognitive impairment, and complex care; no procedures required.
- Requirements: Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine, active Louisiana license, DEA, at least 1 year of experience.
- Spanish fluency preferred.
- Travel expenses covered, including airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage.
