- Must be 18+ and meet competency expectations.
- Perform non-judgmental tasks under pharmacist supervision, including preparing drug orders, verifying records, compounding pharmaceuticals, and issuing controlled substances.
- Maintain accurate patient medication records and departmental documentation.
- Serve in specialty areas like operating room or outpatient clinics, providing services such as medication reconciliation and outpatient dispensing.
- Ensure safe, cost-effective drug therapies, interpret medical records, and report adverse reactions promptly.
- Coordinate patient education and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Handle occupational hazards, including exposure to hazardous substances and potential injuries.
- Requirements include a high school diploma, pharmacy technician registration, and preferred experience or certification.
- Part-time position.
