Program Specialist

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Are you someone who enjoys working with youth and

making a difference in their lives? The Program Specialist implements,

supervises, develops, and evaluates all programs and activities in the

program area of Youth Center for members ages 6-12. The hours for this

position are Monday through Thursday 2-7:00pm and Friday 11-5:00pm. On

non-school days the hours would be 12:00-5:00pm. We are looking for

someone with experience working with youth, ages 6-12, who can develop

and administer programs and activities in our Youth Center. Effectively

administer programs and activities for youth ages 6-12. Develop lesson

plans and implement programs according to the plans. Develop

relationships with youth to ensure trust and confidence in them, to

recruit them to participate in programs. Promote and develop leadership

skills to members. Implement and enforce all Club rules and policies

with the members. Ensure a safe, healthy, and positive environment in

the Youth Areas as well as the rest of the center. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will have: High

school diploma or GED Experience working with youth ages 6-12 Ability to

effectively operate a computer and programs used by the Club Strong

verbal and written communications skills Ability to motivate youth and

manage behavior Good driving record, valid driver\'s license and auto

insurance required Willingness, comfort and ability to drive a mini-bus

for school pick up And be able to work the scheduled hours \*\*\*\*\*
