Maintenance Technician

Productivity, Inc. is looking to fill a Fabrication Maintenance Technician role. Responsible for the installation, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and maintenance of various types of metal fabrication equipment, including press brakes, lasers, water jets, turret punches, plate rolls, and more.

• $31 - $39/hour – depending on relevant experience - plus incentives - annual performance & salary reviews
• Full-time - 40 hours/week - Monday - Friday - 7 AM - 4 PM - occasional overtime

Fabrication Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Install new fabrication metalworking equipment at customer locations in Minnesota
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software issues on current customer equipment
• Identify & replace parts as necessary. Test & make adjustments
• Read and review mechanical and electrical print diagrams and technical repair manuals
  
  

Fabrication Maintenance Technician Requirements

• Proven experience in an industrial maintenance role - experience with troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Fabrication maintenance experience preferred
• Formal training in electrical systems - mechatronics, electro-mechanical, industrial maintenance
• Comfortable working alone and with peers
• Strong customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Monday – Friday - Occasional overtime - Some overnight travel (6-8 nights/month on average)
