Job_Summary:
JPMorganChase is one of the world's oldest and largest financial institutions, known for its innovative financial solutions. The Software Engineer role involves developing and maintaining web applications, migrating cloud services, and integrating APIs to enhance user experience.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, deploy and maintain various micro-service applications concurrent to business requirements.
• Conduct AWS cloud migration of current On-Prem applications under ownership.
• Integrate REST API's with front end architecture.
• Create appropriate data models in React / Angular and JAVA microservices.
• Work with function based approach to build applications using React framework and state management tools like Redux and Recoil.
• Create with Angular CLI for components-based architecture, Services, Filter pipes, Directives and resolve UI bugs.
• Migrate legacy applications in Angular to optimize applications in React.
• Perform client-side validations and create UI test cases using libraries in React and Angular.
• Design the look and feel of the web page with SCSS and CSS stylesheets using in house Libraries and frameworks.
Qualifications:
-Required:
• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 1 (One) year of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Full Stack Software Developer, or related occupation.
• Experience with developing and maintaining web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript with frameworks including React and Angular.
• Experience with designing and implementing user interfaces with HTML and CSS, ensuring they are responsive and accessible across various devices and browsers.
• Experience with building and maintaining server-side applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions using Oracle and SQL.
• Experience with writing and executing unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Experience with identifying and fixing bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Experience with defining, designing, and shipping new features.
• Experience with deploying and managing applications in public and private cloud environments.
