The Production Manager is responsible for the hydraulic repair operation and facility. This entails leading, managing, and overseeing the light assembly operation of hydraulic, pneumatic, and light mechanical systems and assemblies. Position requires leading and coordinating with the Production & Repair Coordinator to ensure material planning aligns with committed delivery schedules and creating production and staffing schedules for the production team. Duties include reporting to the local Sales Manager and Sales Team regarding production schedules and timelines. The incumbent leads a team of Repair Technicians and Power Unit Builders, and reports to and works with the Director of Custom Hydraulic Systems

While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to a manufacturing or job shop environment. At times, there may be fluctuations in temperature or humidity. - Implements strategic operational initiatives to enhance Womack Systems’ financial return on investments.
- Implements and maintains operating policies and procedures to ensure that employees operate efficiently and ethically in accordance with corporate policies and practices.
- Implements processes, procedures, and controls that are best practices for procurement and manufacturing.
- Assumes and maintains responsibility for continuous improvement.
- Ensures product delivery performance and ongoing improvements as needed to meet customer expectations and requirements.
- Manage service and repair center staff, including interviews, selection, training and development, performance management, conflict resolution and, when necessary, disciplinary action or termination
- Assign and designate job duties to technicians according to their skill sets and capabilities.
- Establishes clear expectations holding employees accountable.
- Direct production activities prioritizing jobs according to the delivery schedules to ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity goals are met.
- Initiates training programs for all personnel to achieve optimal efficiencies.
- Works closely with the Sales and Marketing organization to implement strategies to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversees and manages Supplier performance and Supplier relations.
- Ensures that all appropriate financial controls are in place and manages the timeliness and accuracy of financial reports.
- Ensures that procedures and processes follow IS09001 requirements.
- Adheres to the management objectives and values of Evolution Motion Solutions and promotes a team environment with the highest level of employee satisfaction.

Education
- BS in Engineering preferred but not required. HS Diploma will be considered with 5 years’ hydraulic and/or pneumatic experience. Relevant work experience will be accepted
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in a high-quality manufacturing environment.
- Hydraulic manufacturing, assembly, and/or design experience preferred.
- Proven experience in initiating and driving Continuous Improvement (financial results, product and process improvements, customer, and employee relations).
- Professional communication skills to ensure effective correspondence, meetings, presentations, and workshops with all internal and external customers.
- Experience with standard MRP and MS Office software programs.
- High level of commitment towards customer satisfaction.
- Experience in an ISO9001 environment preferred.
- Experience in cell manufacturing in a just-in-time environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through personal effort and through others. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to provide highest levels of Customer satisfaction
- Ability to provide measurable cost savings or revenue enhancement through management practices and streamlined processes.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities – for self and for others.

- Oversees and ensures compliance with Evolution’s Quality Policy, Quality Manual, Quality System Procedures, Standards, and Work Instructions.
