Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will collect and process hazardous waste for temporary storage and disposal.
- You will comply with established regulations to collect, process, package, and prepare hazardous wastes for temporary storage and disposal.
- You will inspect hazardous material storage locations for compliance with storage guidelines or local instructions.
- You will review receipt documentation of hazardous waste for accuracy.
- You will perform environmental, safety, or operational checks on inventories of hazardous materials, waste handling, or spill response equipment.
- You may be required to assist in the containment, treatment, and clean up operations resulting from hazardous spills.
- You will utilize computer terminals and database software.
