Roles And Responsibilities
- Independently manage litigation files from initial pleadings through trial and resolution.
- Handle all aspects of discovery, depositions, court appearances, expert retainment, and trial preparation.
- Assume trial responsibility for files initially handled by others within the legal team.
- Communicate regularly with claims professionals on case status and strategy.
- Collaborate in a team environment while maintaining accountability for individual caseloads.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in No-Fault litigation, with proven trial success.
- J.D. from an A.B.A. accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
- Active license to practice law in Michigan; must be in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan.
- Strong written and oral advocacy, legal research, negotiation, and trial skills.
- Proficiency with legal and office software including Word, Outlook, Google Workspace, and Westlaw.
- Competitive starting salary ranging from $150,000 to $190,000.
- Hybrid work schedule with 2-3 in-office days per week.
