Site Supervisors - Montgomery County, MD

Job Skills / Requirements

BTI currently seeks a site supervisor to supervise and oversee officers and shifts at several of our regional sites in Montgomery County.

• Provide supervision and oversight of officers and shifts.
• Site supervisors will be able to perform all the duties required of their subordinates
• Site supervisors will perform all necessary training of their shift personnel, as directed by the site supervisor
• Site supervisors will additionally exercise and enforce strict discipline, good order, and control among his/her subordinates
• Site supervisors shall ensure that he/she and the assigned guards are:
• Properly trained and will perform all duties as specified in the USG Post Orders and SOP manual
• They are in proper uniform, present a neat appearance and will regularly do visual inspection of all guards and their work environments to ensure that uniform and cleanliness standards are met.
• Maintain a continued state of readiness and up-to-date training
• Perform regular post-inspection
• Adequately prepares written inspection and quality control reports.
• Ensure contract requirements maintain all officer’s credentials.
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Must provide evidence of being at least 21 years of age
• Must provide evidence of being a United States citizen or a registered resident alien
• Site Supervisor must provide an annual drug screening certification
• Two (2) years of experience supervising and leading unarmed/armed security personnel
• Must possess and maintain a valid Maryland Unarmed Security Guard license
• Strong relevant knowledge of the security industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have a customer service-driven mindset
• Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers
• Equipment and Software proficiency in the following: fax/copier/printer, Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel and Word)
  
  

Physical Demands

• Shall be physically able to perform tasks in the performance of assigned duties
• Frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping up to 12 hours per day, either indoors or outdoors
• Ability to remain alert for up to 12 hours, with the ability to mentally and physically react quickly to a variety of unexpected and dangerous situations
