Data Analyst (Power BI & SQL)

Soni Resources is seeking a Data Analyst to own the development and management of Power BI reporting from end to end. You’ll work closely with business leaders to understand reporting needs, build impactful dashboards, ensure data integrity, and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models
• Translate business needs into reporting requirements and actionable insights
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and transformation
• Maintain dashboard documentation and support end users
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting through automation and data quality initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, analytics, or technical field
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis or related IT role
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, DAX, and Excel
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with business stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of data governance and quality

Preferred (not required):

• Experience with Python, Salesforce, and M language
