POSITION OBJECTIVE
To deliver data-driven insights that enhance supply chain efficiency, support manufacturing excellence, and enable smarter planning, sourcing, purchasing, and inventory decisions that drive operational excellence.
Principal Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
- Support production planning by analyzing forecasted demand and aligning procurement material with manufacturing schedules.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory, supplier performance, lead time, and capacity utilization.
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and optimize inventory levels.
- Assist in evaluating supplier delivery performance, cost trends, and risk exposure.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making and drive operational visibility.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize ERP and advanced analytics tools to automate reporting and streamline supply chain processes.
- Support cost modeling, make-buy analysis, and scenario planning to inform sourcing and production strategies
- Lead and support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects
- Help digitize supply chain processes (e.g., implementing automated tracking)
- Act as a business key user and liaison during ERP implementation or upgrades
- Ensure manufacturing modules (BOMs, routings, work orders) align with supply chain data
- Perform UAT (user acceptance testing) and train team members
- Analytical mindset – to interpret data, identify trends, and support cost modeling and scenario planning.
- Detail-oriented – ensures accuracy in KPIs, forecasts, BOMs, and ERP data.
- Collaborative – able to work cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics.
- Process-oriented – focused on improving systems through automation, lean, and digitization.
- Proactive communicator – comfortable presenting insights, training others, and leading cross-functional efforts.
- Adaptable and tech-savvy – able to act as a business key user and support ERP changes or upgrades.
- High ethical standards and integrity – demonstrates discretion and trustworthiness when handling confidential or sensitive supply chain, financial, or vendor data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or Information Systems (with supply chain or manufacturing focus)
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Analytics is a plus but not required
- Minimum of 3 years in a supply chain, operations, or manufacturing analyst role
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for reporting and dashboarding
- High level of knowledge related to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects
- KPI development and monitoring
- Strong knowledge in inventory management principles (e.g., EOQ, safety stock)
