RoleThe Property Desk Adjuster is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and assisting in the resolution of property insurance claims on behalf of policyholders from a remote or office-based setting. This role involves direct and consistent contact with clients, collecting and analyzing documentation and facts, determining coverage and ensuring timely and fair resolution of clients’ claims in accordance with the company guidelines and compliance requirements.

You will be a part of daily team learning sessions, weekly 1:1s, and case strategy while holding yourself to the highest professional standards. You’ll work closely with the Manager, Public Adjuster, to ensure SOPs, expectations, and performance remain first class for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Handle residential and commercial property claims via phone, email and internal systems.
  • Review claims documents, policy forms, photographs, estimates and other supporting documentation during the course of each investigation.
  • Determine coverage in accordance with the policy as provided by the insurance carrier.
  • Negotiate and resolve matters within designated authority levels.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, insurance companies, contractors, and vendors.
  • Accurately document claim files with relevant findings.
  • Coordinate with Public Adjuster(s) and Manager, Public Adjuster (MPA) to determine strategy for claims resolution.
  • Maintain compliance with internal and external compliance standards.
  • Meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Reinforce Allied’s G.R.I.T. culture across every interaction and file.


Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in property claims adjusting.
  • Technical knowledge of property insurance policies, Xactimate, and construction scopes.
  • Field inspection and negotiation experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
  • Alignment with Allied’s claims philosophy and G.R.I.T. core values.

Base Salary$50,000 - $85,000 DOE
