I&E Designer

Overview We are seeking a qualified Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Designer to support both office-based design efforts and on-site field verification activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in instrumentation and electrical design, who is comfortable transitioning between field data collection and design documentation. The position offers the opportunity for a long-term assignment with exposure to a variety of industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform field verification and data gathering to support the development and maintenance of I&E design deliverables.
• Develop and update instrumentation and electrical drawings including:
• Loop diagrams
• Schematics
• I/O lists
• Marshalling and junction box layouts
• DCS interface documentation
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate and complete design packages.
• Redline and update drawings based on field observations and design changes.
• Utilize design tools to prepare documentation in accordance with project standards and specifications.
• Maintain compliance with site safety requirements while performing field work.

• DCS Drawings

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to perform independent fieldwork and translate field data into accurate design documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality.
