The Role
As a Regional Program Manager, you will manage, motivate, and inspire a team of coaches/peer mentors who carry out our Expanded Learning and afterschool programs and curriculum. You will monitor coach quality and hold the coaching team accountable for all their scheduled shifts. You’ll manage the daily logistics and communication with school sites, ensure coach schedules are accurate and updated in a timely manner, and build relationships with the coaching team, school administrators, and local colleges for recruitment.

The target annual base pay range for this position is$67,000 - $75,000. Final pay determinations may depend on various factors, including experience level, education, geographical location, knowledge, and skills. Responsibilities
- Staff Management: Oversee part-time coaches who implement the programs in your region, manage call-outs, and serve as the main contact point for coaches.
- Administrative Work: Handle Humanity adjustments, program schedule auditing, and HubSpot coach data management.
- Onsite Coach Training and Program Support: Ensure coaches are trained on Elevo’s curriculum and how to manage large groups of students.
- Team Building: Foster a positive culture within your team, attract, retain, and develop a high-performing coaching staff.
- Program Management: Quickly resolve issues and implement necessary procedures to improve programs in your region. Ensure the quality of Elevo’s program in every school within your region.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with your team, college contacts, and school administrators to ensure program success and alignment.
Position Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience leading a team (preferred).
- Ability to work on your feet and engage in light physical activity for long periods.
- Experience in developing external partnerships with higher education institutions.
- Ability to travel regionally at least 3 times per week.
- Availability for 9 Saturdays.
- Strong prioritization and communication skills, able to cross-collaborate across departments.
- Familiarity with the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P).
- 4+ years of experience in education.
- 4+ years of experience in afterschool and summer school enrichment programs for TK-6th grade.
- Managing People/Team Building: Demonstrate excellence in managing and building a results-driven and positive team with a culture of continuous improvement.
- Recruitment: Attract and recruit college students and recent graduates; develop relationships with college faculty and present to university lecture halls.
- Training: Lead training on Elevo curriculum and essential customer service skills; improve coach performance through demonstration and feedback.
- Visionary Leadership: Inspire passion, optimism, respect, and trust.
- Results-Oriented & Problem-Solving: Resolve problems promptly, develop alternative solutions, and take decisive action to reach viable solutions and goals.
- Public Speaking: Confidently deliver presentations to large groups.
- Customer-Focused: Accurately apply customer feedback to improve programs.
