Job DescriptionJob Description
Florida Technical College Nursing Program Faculty are highly motivated and qualified Nursing Faculty members who are responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating courses across the nursing curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment for students, and contributing to the ongoing development of the program. Adjunct Instructor duties include teaching, directing and coordinating academic activities or any academic related activity. The Faculty member provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in their chosen field of study by utilizing teaching skills, experience, and abilities to create a positive, nurturing and effective classroom environment to actively retain and successfully graduate students from their program of study.
Minimum requirements:.
Must be computer literate to maintain and manage the course documents within the learning management system and also educational resources.

Minimum requirements:.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program. Doctorate in Nursing or a related field.
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the State of Florida. Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) certification through the National League for Nursing (NLN).
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in clinical nursing practice.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an accredited nursing program.
Must be computer literate to maintain and manage the course documents within the learning management system and also educational resources.
