Job Overview

Seaton Construction Group is seeking a seasoned and driven Traveling Concrete Superintendent to oversee the planning and execution of high-profile commercial and industrial concrete projects nationwide. This leadership role requires extensive knowledge of foundation and flatwork concrete construction, strong crew supervision skills, and the ability to maintain quality, safety, and schedule performance across dynamic job sites. Travel is essential to this position, with flexibility to be based anywhere in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full execution of concrete construction projects from planning through completion
• Supervise field crews and manage daily performance
• Schedule field personnel and allocate resources efficiently
• Plan project layout and execution strategies
• Track productivity metrics and project progress
• Enforce quality control and ensure all QA standards are met
• Record and manage employee timekeeping
• Coordinate onsite with Project Superintendents and subcontractors
• Manage equipment and tooling logistics, upkeep, and safety
• Enforce jobsite safety compliance and monitor daily conditions
• Participate in hiring and provide input on field staffing decisions
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete foundation and flatwork project supervision
• Proven leadership skills in field operations and crew management
• Strong knowledge of layout, formwork, rebar, and pour sequencing
• Relevant university degree is a plus, but not required
• Proficient in reading plans and executing layouts independently
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrain
• Willingness to travel for extended periods as needed
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs and perform physical labor as needed
• Regular, predictable attendance
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening in compliance with applicable laws
