Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repairs of plumbing systems in homes and commercial properties
• Cut, fit, and solder piping systems under supervision
• Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and work orders
• Identify plumbing issues and support senior mechanics in solutions
• Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
• Follow local and state plumbing codes and all safety protocols
• Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and clients
  
  

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on plumbing experience (residential and/or commercial)
• Familiarity with standard plumbing tools and materials
• Ability to take direction, follow instructions, and work independently when needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work
• Authorized to work in the United States
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Enrollment in or completion of a formal plumbing apprenticeship program
• Understanding of Suffolk County plumbing codes
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus
