MLJ is seeking an Assistant Procurement Specialist to join their team in Lower Manhattan.
Description: Responsible for sourcing goods & services, Managing the paperwork & process of sourcing goods & services, Ensuring quality, cost effectiveness and timely delivery of goods & services. Data entry. Once comfortable with these tasks, role will be expanded to purchasing of goods & services, negotiating goods & services, and managing Vendor relationships. Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and inventory control. Researching new Vendors.
Requirements: High School Graduate (minimum), Responsible, Punctual, Good people communication (phone, and email) skills, Ability to use Excel, Ability to learn new software (CMiC)
Hourly Rate
$25—$27.50 USD
