Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • Primary Skill: Scrum Master.
  • Secondary: UI – Jenkins, Github, JIRA.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • A Senior Scrum Master is a leadership role within Agile development, focusing on multiple projects using the Scrum framework. They coach teams, facilitate agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure teams adhere to Scrum principles.
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize backlogs and track metrics.
  • Should be able to understand report various required metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Running Various ceremonies for the project:

  • Very deep and though understanding of all scrum master concepts and ceremonies. Should be able to guide team in correct direction.

Coaching And Mentoring

  • Guiding teams and individuals in adopting and improving their understanding and application of agile and scrum principles and practices.

Facilitation

  • Leading and facilitating scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives).

Impediment Removal

  • Identifying and removing obstacles that hinder team progress and productivity.

Team Development

  • Fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment, promoting self-organization and cross-functionality.

Stakeholder Management

  • Working with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlogs, manage expectations, and ensure alignment on project goals.

Metrics Tracking

  • Monitoring and reporting on key metrics to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance agile practices and optimize team workflow.

Communication

  • Facilitating effective communication within and across teams and with stakeholders.

Release Planning

  • Facilitating release planning workshops and ensuring transparency of the release vision.

Agile Education

  • Educating teams, including product owners, on agile requirements, planning, and backlog creation.

Salary Range - $70,000-$115,000 a year
