About The Role

Oversees the following department managers and team members:

Shipping Supervisor

Production Supervisor

Logistics Manager

What You'll Do

Manages the daily activities of the company by overseeing several departments. Responsible for directing actions across an organization and direct managers and supervisors to improve efficiency and reduce costs as needed.

Maintaining relationships with departments to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods. Establishing and implementing qualitative and quantitative metrics for managers to augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.

Establishes and monitors KPIs for departments and individuals as well as works to develop and enforce any needed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Maintains a safe work environment and enforces all company policies to ensure employee safety is adhered to at all times. Ensures work areas are clean and safe to operate.

Coordinates production needs with customer orders to ensure timely delivery. Works with Logistic Manager to provide cost effective and time effective delivery of goods.

Works with Logistics Manager to provide optimal service for all related activities in regards to customer orders, inbound and outbound shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress
  • Oversee production and warehouse operations to ensure quality and productivity
  • Work with team to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
  • Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback
  • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Help implement and manage a WMS system
  • Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
  • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations
  • Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements and staffing requirements.
  • Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a related field required. MBA preferred
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency
  • Experience with Acumatica and TMS preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs
