SMHWI is a high-end mental health clinic with offices in Scottsdale, Tempe, and Glendale, Arizona. We offer traditional and innovative Psychiatric services that include Psychiatric medication management and psychotherapy, as well as TMS and IV Ketamine for treatment of depression. We strive to provide the best health care and customer service in a professional, yet personalized, warm, and friendly environment.

SMHWI is looking for enthusiastic, high-energy, motivated Licensed Therapist/Counselor to join our team. Interested candidates must be willing to work between our 3 locations and must have experience, be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally. Opportunities to join a team of like-minded people who are at the forefront of mental health do not come often.

Synergy Mental Health & Wellness Integrated Requirements

  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Therapists assess clients' mental health needs, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Crisis Intervention: Respond to and manage crises that may arise during therapy sessions or in the community, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any other required documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care and provide a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Education and Support: Educate clients about mental health, coping mechanisms, and strategies for maintaining mental well-being. Offer support and encouragement throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications

  • Education: A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
  • Licensing: Must be a Licensed Professional Counselor or mental health professional in AZ.
  • Experience: Previous experience in mental health counseling, especially in an intensive outpatient setting, is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to work effectively with diverse populations is also important.
  • Empathy and Compassion: Given the nature of the work, a high level of empathy and compassion is crucial to connect with clients and provide effective therapeutic support.
