Description

Timios is seeking a Processing Specialist for our Capital Markets team. The Processing Specialist is responsible for managing client production expectations to meet service level agreements, while maintaining individual production and quality goals.

Individuals in this role will communicate with management, internal staff, and outside agencies to facilitate all capital markets needs in a timely manner, along with other necessary responsibilities, consistent with company-defined standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Examine title abstracts to determine if cleared for policy and which items will require title clearance
  • Review collateral packages for necessary documents and determine curative requirements
  • Create Lender’s Title Insurance Policies, in accordance with Client Requirements as well as within Underwriter and State Guidelines
  • Communicate with third parties to obtain copies of original lenders’ title policies, execution of assignments, releases, and confirm payment status of liens
  • Take necessary steps to cure title defects per clearance guidelines
  • Manage and support vendor relationships
  • Maintain open communication with team members
  • Communicate ideas on efficiency to aid the necessary procedures to ensure a productive process
  • Additional duties, as assigned by management

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with Collateral Curative and/or in the Secondary Mortgage Market
  • High-School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience within Real Estate or Mortgage Industry
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-Motivated: ability to work independently and adapt to change in priorities
  • Capability to work as part of a team towards a shared goal
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to multitask
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports and documentation
