Description
Position Summary:
The Director of Business Development is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies, forming partnerships, and increasing client acquisition through effective marketing, referral networks, and strategic outreach. This leader will work directly with the CEO to scale operations, recruit new clients, and expand into new territories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement growth strategies to expand client base and market reach.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, clinics, physicians, case managers, and discharge planners.
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with healthcare organizations, insurance companies, and senior communities.
- Lead the creation of marketing campaigns, events, and outreach efforts to promote services.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine growth strategies.
- Collaborate with intake, operations, and clinical teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service excellence.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and health fairs to promote the agency.
- Generate weekly reports on performance metrics, referral trends, and ROI.
- Proven experience in home health care, healthcare sales, or business development (minimum 3-5 years).
- Deep understanding of the home care or healthcare industry and regulatory landscape.
- Strong network of referral sources in the medical or social service communities (preferred).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred).
