The Senior Director of Consulting is a dynamic, strategic leader responsible for overseeing Mark-Taylor's consulting services, including Tenant Source, Mark-Taylor Academy, ION (Integrated Operations Network), Pre-Development and Development, Marketing & Public Relations and Centralization. This role owns the full consulting lifecycle - sales strategy, service delivery, client satisfaction, and business growth. As the face of consulting, this leader drives revenue, deepens client partnerships, and ensures our solutions deliver measurable impact.

You're Excited About This Role Because You Will
- Develop and execute long-term consulting strategies aligned with enterprise goals, serving as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on market trends and innovation.
- Lead end-to-end sales efforts, including lead generation, contract negotiation, and client relationship management to drive revenue and business growth.
- Oversee high-quality execution of consulting engagements, creating scalable frameworks, service agreements, and tools that ensure consistency and profitability.
- Represent the organization at industry events, contribute to strategic publications, and elevate the company's presence as a thought leader in the multifamily consulting space.
- Collaborate across departments to align with consulting initiatives with operational goals, ensuring implementation success and enterprise-wide impact.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing consulting team with a focus on accountability, innovation, and succession planning.
- Manage budgets, forecast performance, and optimize resources to ensure financial health and operational efficiency of the consulting division.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, building/maintaining sales, or business development, preferably in multifamily housing, and/or professional services.
- Proven track record of owning and closing enterprise-level deals, scaling service offerings, and driving measurable results.
- Demonstrated experience developing go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and consulting products.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and strategic communication skills.
- Deep cross-functional collaboration experience with demonstrated ability to drive enterprise alignment.
- Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics with a data-driven approach.
