Manager, Premium Sales – Overview
This Manager, Premium Sales serves a critical role for the Elevate team operating at Rose Bowl Stadium, tasked with delivering on annual premium seating revenue goals. This Premium Sales Manager role will be part of a groundbreaking collaboration between two powerhouse brands in the Rose Bowl and Elevate.
Responsibilities
The Manager, Premium Sales will work under the guidance of the Vice President, Premium Sales to drive premium seating revenue at the Rose Bowl Stadium. The ideal candidate should be professional, self-motivated, research savvy, and able to present to C-Level executives in all industries.
The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will be able to perform each essential duty or possess the skills necessary to learn and implement them. ○ Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience required.
○ Minimum 4-5 years of successful sales experience in sports, media, sponsorships and/or direct sales is preferred.
○ Successful track record in closing multiple year high-dollar valuation B2B sales is preferred.
○ Must be able to set appointments and conduct presentations hosted at the stadium, as well as out of office presentations.
○ Conduct face-to-face presentations to C-level executives.
○ Experience with Archtics and Salesforce is a plus.
○ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
○ Must possess time management and organizational skills.
○ Must be coachable and possess a growth mindset in a fast-paced environment and changing landscape.
○ Must maintain professional behavior and appearance at all times.
○ Must have a strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
○ Must be able to work independently and multi-task.
○ Must possess strong communication skills; be comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong, active listening skills.
○ Able to learn and be multi-dimensional based on where the needs are.
○ Goal oriented whether that is around driving revenue, providing service or helping daily operations.
○ Be able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruptions.
○ Capable of maintaining discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information as needed.
Working Environment
○ The incumbent primarily works in an office environment, however is expected to attend additional athletic event(s) and/or department events as scheduled throughout the year.

Manager, Premium Sales – Overview

- Actively sell available premium inventory via outbound sales calls, appointments, presentations, and stadium/venue tours. Emphasis for this role will be targeting corporations and businesses to pitch and sell suites at the Rose Bowl.
- Responsible for generating premium revenue by prospecting, appointment setting, preparing/executing sales presentations and closing sales.
- Meet or exceed established yearly revenue and ticket goals set for new business and renewals.
- Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods, as well as follow up on leads provided by sales leadership.
- Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including but not limited to: networking events, speaking engagements, one-on-one dinners/lunches, prospect sampling at games, seat visits at games and outside meetings.
- Perform accurate and skilled deal closings.
- Enter all pertinent prospect and customer information in the CRM platform for efficient reporting and historical data purposes.
- Assist in game day duties, including but not limited to, hosting member events and servicing ticket holder needs.
- Any other duties assigned by Management.
