Pay range: $68k - 85k based on experience

Responsibilities

Hours of operation: 8:30am - 5pm

Job Summary

• Serves as clinical resource for direct patient care staff, providing orientation, education and inservices.
• Determines clinical education needs based on Performance and Process Improvement findings.
• Coordinates education programs for staff, palliative care and other community education activities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education/Regulatory Requirements:
• BSN required. Master’s degree preferred
• Certification in Hospice and palliative care preferred
• Current American Heart Basic Life Support
• Skills:
• One year of clinical experience required
• Demonstrated proficiencies in computer skills.
• EMR software experience a plus
• Professional Requirements:
• High degree of initiative and judgment required to plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate educational experiences.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles
• Demonstrated experience with oral and written communication which includes public speaking and teaching
• Language Skills:
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
