Key Responsibilities:
HR & Payroll Support
- Process and review employee payroll for accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain employee records in HR files and payroll systems
- Assist with new hire onboarding, terminations, and HR documentation
- Track time-off requests, attendance, and benefits enrollment
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and HR policies
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal procedures
- Review, code, and process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or payment issues
- Assist with weekly ACH payments and credit card reconciliation
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing inquiries
- Support month-end closing processes and assist with AP-related reporting
- Assist with special projects requiring data analysis, reporting automation, and process optimization
- Analyze and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Create, maintain, and optimize Excel spreadsheets, reports, and dashboards with advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, conditional formatting, data validation)
- Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, resolve reporting errors, and identify root causes of data-related issues
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and support process improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve data processes and enhance reporting quality
- Assist with maintaining and updating customer records in CRM and internal databases
- Provide phone support and route incoming inquiries when the sales team is short-staffed
- Coordinate with departments to identify and resolve process inefficiencies
- Support general business operations as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day activities
