Position available for Full-time Sales Representative

Tuesdays – Fridays and every other Saturday

Must have flexibility to come in on Sundays as needed and work around business hours to accommodate prospects

Salary: $68,640 base + generous bonus plan

All applicants are required to complete and pass a drug screening, tuberculosis (TB) skin test, and criminal clearance through FBI and Department of Justice. The background search includes minor misdemeanors and DUIs.

 The Sales Representative position reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for representing Baywood Court during the sales process. This responsibility includes assessing needs of the applicant and helping guide them and families to appropriate levels of care. Handling all paperwork required from initial application to signing of lease and scheduling new resident move-ins. Conducts tours, handles phone and website inquiries, follows up with prospects and families, Business to Business Outreach and sets up and attends trade shows that Baywood participates in. Ideal candidate is an excellent listener, asks the right questions, warm persona, tenacious and unflappable with the unique quality to make instant connections.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

· Manages the full continuum of the sales process—from initial inquiry through deposit acquisition to resident move-in—while professionally representing, promoting, and negotiating on behalf of Baywood Court to prospective residents.

· Initiates ongoing contact with prospective residents via telephone, personal visits, tours and home visit activities as appropriate to facilitate the selling process.

· Manages the Assisted Living admission process. Schedules assessments with the Assisted Living Nurse Manager and explains the admission process with residents and family members. Coordinates the move-in process with respective departments and follows up as required.

· Understands and accurately represents all documents related to residency including lease agreements, disclosure documents, etc.

· Will become familiar with functioning and operations of all departments and services at Baywood to be able to provide information or secure appropriate response for internal and external inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum of two years sale experience

· Must be familiar with computer word processing and Microsoft Office preferred; basic Excel skills required. Demonstrated analytical thinking essential. 

· Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with both large and small groups

· Must be able to work independently with self-discipline & self-motivation; sense of urgency is required. Possess the ability to exercise thoughtful independent judgment

· Present positive first impression (well-groomed appearance)

· Strong interpersonal, organizational and coordination skills

· Have a warm, outgoing personality, which imparts enthusiasm to staff and effectively engages visitors and residents

· Must have knowledge of and special sensitivity to the needs of the aging; enjoy working with older adults


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Normally works in well-lighted, comfortable surroundings. Must be able to concentrate with frequent interruptions. Must be able to walk for up to 75% of the workday. Must be able to tour through the entire building, up to one mile, occasionally pushing a wheelchair. Must be able to bend and stoop. Must be able to lift up to twenty (20) pounds independently on occasion. Heavy phone usage.
