We are located on a serene 37-acre campus in northeast Shelby County, serving as the setting for the treatment

children, adolescents, young adults, adults and seniors. Lakeside's comprehensive programs treat disorders such as bipolar disorder, psychological trauma, depression and anxiety, mental illness and addictive disease disorders such as alcoholism, drug addiction and substance abuse.
Job Description
The Certified Peer Specialist Supervisor will ensure TRP has adequate peer staff to fill peer led groups. Provides weekly training for peers to allow growth in the role. Identifies curriculum that is appropriate for groups ( Create The Book). Assists the peer led activities on the unit and ensures creativity. Meets with patients to identify needs for the continuum of care through Lakeside. Creates a schedule for outside speakers and ensures policy is followed as it pertains to confidentiality forms signed and accountability. Ensures Peer drivers are taking patients to appropriate AA/NA meetings and fills in as needed. Oversees the cleanliness and organization of the apartments. Is able to randomly monitor the lodging program in the evenings whether that be at curfew or after hours. Submitting documentation each visit to the Director of Addiction Services. Will contribute
in
a peer support
capacity
to
facilitate
recovery and enhance wellness

The Certified Peer Specialist Supervisor provides peer support in a manner that positively supports facility operations in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy and

Job Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
A minimum of three years' experience in a mental healthcare field preferred. One year experience in negotiating the mental health system (crisis services, vocational rehabilitation, human services, etc.)
Licensure/
Certification
Current credentialing as a Certified Peer Specialist through the Department of
Behavioral Health and Mental Retardation Serv
ices preferred. Valid TN driver's li
cense and
MVR that
complies
with facility policy
