We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for working on new and existing designs for Capsa Healthcare.

This position reports to the Hardware Engineering manager and will be a hybrid position located in Portland, Oregon.

Position Location: Portland, Oregon

As the Mechanical Engineer, your contributions to the team will include:

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including material selection, stress analysis, and kinematics
• Knowledge of or experience with technologies including injection molding, thermoforming, blow molding, metal fabrication, casting, extrusion fluid flow and pressure dynamics
• Ability to design components and assemblies with high precision, considering tolerances for manufacturing and assembly processes
• Design and engineering of complex assemblies and sophisticated system level products including electrical, software and mechanical components and integration
• Experience with prototyping and iterating on design concepts
• Ability to manage design and development projects from start to completion
• Development and coordination of testing and test fixtures to verify product performance
  
  

What We Ask Of You

• Required: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years of industry experience
• Electromechanical component and assemble design
• Proficient SolidWorks capabilities
